This is the place monument

In Salt Lake City we went to This is the Place monument and the weather was beautiful. We played around and had fun.

Party Time

We helped Megan and the Farrs celebrate her first birthday. Megan just has to be one of the cutest one year olds out there!
Megan spent most of her time playing with the cousin that was her size. (But not for long)
Kate and Megan's cousin Thomas checkin' each other out.
Matching girls. I love it.

Easter in Idaho

On sunday, we had Easter at Great Grandma and Grandpa Egbert's. We had a ton of the family over and had so much fun.
We tortured all the families that were there and made them take pictures. This is the (Conner) Egbert Fam.
(Dean) Egbert Fam.
Kuhlenhoelter Family. (And yes, I posted this on one purposed because Jonny is pouting. Serves him right.)
This is my favorite pictures because it is of my grandparents with (almost) all their great-grandkids. It is so cute!

Easter cont.

Lily had a great time in Idaho
Kate with Emily's friend Megan, who we dragged all over Utah and Idaho this weekend.

Shopping for Dresses

On Monday we went to look for a wedding dress for Emily and a prom dress for Alisha. Kate got to go to the park with Melissa and Robin, so Lily had all the fun.

Elizabeth and I were being goofy, so we tried on dresses ourselves, she is putting up pictures of herself on her blog.

Mommy's Girls

Kate insisted on putting some curlers in her hair too. They didn't help, too bad.
Lily loves to sit and stare at this toy, which is about all she can do.

Such a happy baby!
This child is way to grown up for her own good. I can't believe she is almost two!

"Spring has brought me such a nice surprise..."

Drew's parents just moved to New Mexico, so they decided to surprise us and generously give us their old car. It was a huge blessing because Drew's car just hit 300,000 miles. We are sorry to see them go though, having both sets of grandparents close was awesome.
Yesterday the weather was beautiful, so we had our snack outside.
While Kate ate Goldfish, Lily nibbled on leaves. She drooled dirt for hours after I fished what was left of the leaf out of her mouth.
Today we went to the park and got on the swings. Both girls had a blast. Kate insisted on trying out the big girl swing, and luckily, she didn't fall off as I expected her to. What a big girl!

Splish Splash I was taking a bath

Kate loves the bath soooo much, she asks to take one at least 3 times a day.
Lily is starting to get the cutest little personality, too bad she doesn't have any teeth to use that toothbrush on.
We love daddy
Capturing a moment without splashing!
