Happy Holiday to all our friends and family this year! As we celebrate the coming of a new year, I can't help but think of the wonderful year 2010 was!
This year we finally remodeled the kitchen and we were "lucky" enough to spend our tax return on a new roof. I would like to say we will not put any money into the house this year, but I know it won't happen, so I will accept the fact that houses always need something done! In May I graduated from USI with a degree in Nutrition and Wellness, and we are still celebrating the end of my undergraduate degree! We made two trips to Utah this summer to first drop off my siblings Alisha and Andrew off at BYU and next to celebrate my sister Melissa's wedding. The car ride almost killed us, but we were glad to have two such joyous events to attend. The end of 2010 brought the most wonderful event of all: the birth of our third child, Elise Noel. We are amazingly happy to have this little bundle in our lives!
Drew and eBash made it to two years in December and he continues to love his job. However, because of his love of adventure and new things, Drew will start another job this month with Edward Jones. We are looking forward to this experience and the continued growth of eBash.Drew is a wonderful husband and loving father, and I feel so blessed to have him as my eternal companion.
I, as previously mentioned, graduated in May and have been enjoying staying at home with Kate and Lily. I also feel in love with Agatha Christie novels and started having preschool at home for the girls. We learned almost all of our letters before Elise came, and I hope to start back up soon.
Kate (4) became a big girl this year. She is so sweet and thoughtful and is a great big sister to Elise. She is in love with princesses and wants to understand everything. I am answering a thousand "why" questions every day from her.
Lily lost her status as "the baby," but has bloomed into a delightful little girl. She is so much fun and is Kate's best friend. She also loves princesses and dressing up and playing pretend. There is never a dull moment in our house with Kate and Lily!
Elise is brand new in our house but has already had a huge impact on our family. She is a great baby and has routinely only woken up once during the night since we brought her home. She lets Kate and Lily hold her and love on her without complaint, a wonderful quality indeed.
2010 brought so many blessings into our lives and we are looking forward to what 2011 brings!
