Week Five

Lily's first (and so far, only) real bath!
I keep forgetting to turn the pictures the right way, so you just have to deal with this. Drew decided it would be fun to dress kate up like him.
I let Kate watch me clean the toilet, and the next thing I know, she has decided that I didn't do a good enough job.Now i really have to make sure the bathroom door is shut.
Megan came to visit us this week! We had the best time. Kate was so happy to have her friend back.

Fun In Louisville

This weekend Alisha had a meet in Louisville, and the youth had a temple trip, so the whole family went on a road trip. The weather was beautiful.

Drew, Dad, and the boys arrived looking like the Mafia in their church clothes. As soon as Kate spotted them, she took off running. She loves the boys!
This is Alisha finishing the race. She did awesome!!!! I am not sure what place she came in, but her time was under 21 minutes. We are so proud of her.
After the meet, we went to a resturant named Chedder's. It was pretty good. Lily finally decided to wake up, too bad she was too late to see any of the meet.

Week Four

This week Lily turned one month old. I can't believe how quickly time flies. Also the girls and I went up to my Mother-In-Law's house to learn how she makes her dough ornaments. It was a lot of fun, and I even got to make an angel. Later we went to a Mexican resturant, which is why Lily has the chip by her mouth.
This is typically how Drew finds me when I get home, trying to entertain Kate while attempting to get Lily asleep.

Week Three

This is the way we get Lily to sleep at night. Otherwise, we have to hold her. Pretty soon, I won't be able to fall alseep without the creak-creak of the swing.
Drew and I were trying to put the diaper trash can in the kitchen, but Kate kept pushing it back in her room. It took three more times for her to understand where we wanted it.
On Labor Day we helped paint Emily's old room. Kate had a lot of fun with the paint brush.
Earlier that day Drew played softball with the elders quorum. This is one of his hits. GO Drew!!!

Week Two

What a week! We lost our camera, so we are way behind in picture taking. Friday we went and bought a new one. Lily is starting to be more alert and sleep better at night. Last night I swaddled her, stuck her in the swing on full speed, and turned on the fan for some white noise. She slept for four hours. Then Drew gave her a bottle, so I actually got six hours of sleep in a row!!!! It was an exciting time for me. Today we went to a family labor day shin-dig where Kate found this tractor. She wailed when we took her off of it. Tomarrow the elders q. is playing softball and then Drew is going with Mike Cathro to a comic book store for a tournament.

XC meet

Kate, Mom, Dad, Lily, and I went to Alisha's cross-country meet on Saturday in Terra Haute. It was a beautiful day.
Kate was pretty excited, but I don't think Lily even realized we had left the apartment.
We sat near the finish line so that we could get a picture of Alisha as she crossed the line. There were over three hundred runners at this race, and we estimate Alisha can in around 130th. She did really well considering this is a college course.
After the race, Kate went to congratulate 'Lish.
