Last week little Lily went to the doctor for her two year appointment. She weighs 30 lbs and is 35 inches tall. Growing up fast!

End of August photos

One Morning I noticed it was awfully quiet, "where were my little girls?" I thought. Here was the state I found Lily in-covered, I mean covered in lotion.
Kate was occupying herself with something a little less messy-my shoes.

I just thought this picture was cute. I know she means serious business when she takes a book to the bathroom!

School Days

School has started again! I just thought I warn you that the blog might get a little neglected as I try to navigate my senior year of college. But yeah to the being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

No more babies (*tear*)!

Lily's birthday morning.
Blowing out her candles

Lighting the candles again because they are so much fun!

Lily is ready to grab a handful.

The cake that Aunt Emily made. Thanks Emmy!

I love Kate's face as Lily uncovers her presents from Grandma

Diving Right In

Lily with her birthday buddy, Papa ( and a very talkative Elmo)
Showing off her baby from Grandma Heckert

Enjoying her candy from Grandma Heckert very much!
So, it has happened, my baby turned two,and now we officially have no more babies in the house-very sad news indeed! Lily had so much fun opening her presents and blowing out her candles, and of course, eating cake. Thanks everybody for all the presents and well wishes!

Football Fun

Last night we went to Andrew's football scrimmage. Even though it was 90 degrees at the start of the game (5pm) we still had a great time. The girls provided ample sideline entertainment for the crowd. Here Kate was being a "horsey" and insisted on Lily taking a ride.
A chill moment.

Ready to cheer!

A great picture of Andrew, he is the center, so the one holding the ball.
Go Andrew! Oh, he is so cute!

Andrew again, middle on the right.

Happy Fourth of July!

Today, quite out of the ordinary, the temperature was only 68 degrees with a steady stream of rain, so what did we do this dreary 4th of July? We played in the rain at Grandma's house. I have said this before, but my kids are so lucky to have a Grandma that will put boots and them and play in the rain with them.
Kate wanted her own umbrella of course.

Splish, splish, splash!
Even Mommy got in on the action

After having fun in the backyard, we decided to float our duckies down the "river" on the ride of the road.
Go!
The girls didn't exactly understand the point of the game, because they wouldn't leave the ducks alone.
Soaked to the bone and LOVING it!
She obviously was not ready for her close up with the food on her face.
Snatching all the duckies .

Back inside, drying up! What a great way to celebrate the Independence of our nation. I am so happy my girls will have so many wonderful memories with my family, it just can't get any better than this!
